MB Sings

Every year, MB Sings brings nearly 300 singers of all ages from across the province together for an inspiring weekend of group singing directed by guest conductors from across North America.

ABOUT

Established in 1982, MB Sings is MCA's longest-running program and draws nearly 300 singers from across The Singing Province and beyond every year for an inspiring weekend of music and community-building with accomplished and respected conductors from across the continent.

Formerly known as Provincial Honour Choirs, MB Sings singers participate in two days of intensive rehearsals learning interesting and challenging repertoire, and then share what they’ve learned with families and friends in a finale concert.

The MB Sings program has three choirs corresponding to age:

Junior Choir (singers in grades 5 - 8)
Senior Choir (singers in grades 9 - 12)
Adult Choir (ages 18+)

There are no auditions to join the MB Sings Choirs and registration is open to all singers Grades 5 and up, regardless of experience or singing ability! There is something for everyone in this exciting program!

Mark your calendars! The 2025 MB Sings program will run from Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2. Rehearsals and the finale concert will take place in Winnipeg.

Registration

Registration is now open for MB Sings 2025! Early bird registration ends December 1 and registration closes January 19. Individual MCA members can receive 10% off their registration fee!

Health & Consent Form

Parents or legal guardians of singers under the age of 18 must complete a health and consent form to participate in MB Sings. Forms must be submitted no later than January 24, 2025.

Finale Concert

Purchase tickets for the 2025 MB Sings Finale Concert online or at the door. Supporters can attend the concert in-person in Winnipeg or by livestream!
