AWARDS OF DISTINCTION

A limited number of awards in this category are given annually to recognize emerging artists within the first 5 years of their careers or existence in choral music in Manitoba. Awards are presented to an individual, choir, or program who inspires new projects, ideas, or display artistic potential.

Nominations by MCA members are accepted throughout the year. Candidates are selected by an appointed MCA Award Committee each June and recipients are honoured at MCA events throughout the year, such as: MB Sings, ChoralFest, and the Manitoba Choral Association Annual General Meeting.
